Foster Youth Educational Services

Allan Hancock College is committed to supporting students who have previously experienced the foster care system at any point under the age of 18. Supportive services may include assistance with accessing financial aid, scholarships, student services, and connecting to on and off-campus resources to promote achieving educational success, health, and well-being while attending community college. Additionally, they will assist students with setting goals to complete programs, transfer, and attain certificates and degrees. Please contact the Foster Youth Success Initiative Liaison, Alex Spiess at 805-922-6966 ext. 3978 or alex.spiess@hancockcollege.edu for additional information.
