Personal Security for Distance Learning Students
Allan Hancock College does not restrict enrollment in distance learning classes any more than it does in on-site classes.
The law requires that all qualified students be admitted. Students are encouraged to exercise the same kind of caution in a distance learning class as they would when taking an on-site class. Do not share personal information, including phone number or address, with a relative stranger or new acquaintance. Additional advice about maintaining personal security while enrolled in a online class will be provided by the instructor of the class.
