Federal Work Study Program

Federal Work Study (FWS) provides part-time jobs for students with financial need, allowing them to earn money to help pay educational expenses and to gain valuable work experience. The program encourages work related to the student's program of study. Employment opportunities are posted through the Career Center, for a list of open positions visit: https://hancockcollege.jobspeaker.com/#/jobboard/jobs

Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine eligibility for the FWS program. There are limited FWS funds available at the college. Students interested in FWS should visit the work study page (www.hancockcollege.edu/finaid/workstudy.php) or contact the Financial Aid office at 805 922-6966 ext. 3200 or email finaid@hancockcollege.edu or visit www.hancockcollege.edu/finaid/workstudy.php
